About Church and Family:
From 2001-2007, Joyce developed and directed the Women's Ministry at New Life Church, Gahanna, OH, where her husband Jim was Church Business Administrator. Her ministry focus was on spiritual growth, leadership development and building relevant small groups. She and Jim were also on the church Prayer Team, ministering and the end of each service and being available to mentor as needed. While doing this, some of her international travel and speaking had to be set aside. But in 2007, God spoke to her clearly to resign from being Women's Ministry Director and devote more time to writing and speaking internationally. Interestingly, invitations began coming from even more countries than before.
In 2019, Jim retired, and they now live in Myerstown, PA, where they had raised their children many years earlier. Their son Scott lives and worships with his family in Raleigh, NC. Their daughter Julie and her family live and serve the Body of Christ in Smithville, near Lancaster, PA.
